The owners and staff at Westgate House are committed to providing the highest levels of quality care in a homely warm environment. In the quality care we are also committed to protecting and respecting the dignity, self respect, and as far as possible the independence of our residents. Our dedication to providing quality nursing services ensures that Westgate House operates at a consistently high level.

To give credence to our promises of first class care, Westgate House possesses the Quality Assurance Standard ISO 9002. We are an Approved Training Centre for the training of NVQ's in Care, and we are also a work experience placement centre for student nurses undergoing training for their Nursing Degree or Dip RN HE.

All care staff are encouraged to take up NVQ training up to a minimum of level two and all nurses continue their post qualification education within our Training Centre.

We are registered by CSCI (Commission for Social Care Inspection). We are members of the RNHA (registered Nursing Homes Association) a national association committed to ensuring high standards and we also belong to Classic Homes which is an organisation of 'one off' homes which offer individuality in addition to high standards and value for money.

We have also been awarded '4 Roses' (the highest awarded) by Northants County Council for their scheme for improving care standards.
